Wow! Great job by all today at the last Saturday Practice of 2010 marching season. With a much improved show the Cougar Band is poised to present a superior performance at the Damonte Ranch competition this coming Saturday, October 23rd.

So plan on cheering for the Cougar Band 10/23 6:30pm at DRHS stadium.

Galena Contest - Schedule

The annual competition at Galena High is this Saturday, October 9th.

Schedule:

12pm - band room open
12:30 - practice in upper west parking lot
2:00 - load trailer (in upper lot) with drums, pit, tubas
- eat SACK Dinner, uniforms on (with shako/plume)
3:00 - load buses, travel to Galena
4:00 - prep: hair, uniforms, instruments, etc.
5:00 - move to warmup, tune, review
6:00 - perform
7:00 - awards
7:30 - to buses, travel to SSHS

Band Trailer @ Home Game

The newly wrapped Band Trailer was displayed on the track during the varsity football game tonight. It looks awesome! Kids, parents, staff, ... everyone! loves the new trailer!
